Unleash Your Creativity: The 5-Week Teen Sketchbook Club Join our Teen Sketchbook Club, a dynamic 5-week journey designed for artists who want to break out of their comfort zones, sharpen their skills, and find their unique style. Whether you’re a seasoned doodler or just starting your artistic journey, this club is about process over perfection. Each week, we dive into a new prompt designed to push your technical boundaries and spark fresh ideas. What to Expect: Every session is built around a specific Weekly Prompt that challenges a different aspect of drawing. 3/16 - The "Franken-Creature" (Character Design) 3/23 - Still Life "Glow-Up" 4/6 - The Muralist’s Perspective (Architecture) 4/13 - Typography & "The Self-Logo" 4/20 - Texture Hunt (Mixed Media) This club is about process over perfection. Each week, we dive into a new prompt designed to push technical boundaries and spark fresh ideas. Bringing in your own sketchbook projects are welcome! With Steph and I introducing a new drawing material to pair with the week's prompt available for everyone. *Weekly prompts are given but are open-ended and not expected to be done. About Your Instructors: Steph Untz (Artist of Paint&Grain), grew up in the North Texas area. From a young age she documented my surroundings with her drawings. She also quickly noticed that drawing someone a really cool dragon or capturing their image, helped her connect with her peers. It seemed to be social currency. Over the years, Steph has used painting and drawing as a way to highlight the simple joys in life and to make connections with others. Teaching art to college students, in East Tennessee, while in graduate school was such a huge push in her studio practice. And soon after that experience, taught middle school and was challenged by the way my students viewed the world. For four years she lived in Okinawa, Japan and used mural painting as a way to connect and breakdown cultural barriers. Each time Steph has moved it has been important for her to find community and many times her art interests have afforded her these connections. Steph has lived in Media, Pennsylvania for 7 years. Karith Gingrow (Owner of Nimble Craft), is a local passionate artist and entrepreneur. She has a background in Graphic Design with her main passion being illustration and print work! Karith holds weekly workshops for all ages and believes that art is a powerful tool for self-expression and connection.
