Three Wednesdays A Month / 7-8:30pm / Ages 18+ / You can attend whenever/whichever! Inspired by the Nordic tradition of “lillördag”, Little Saturday treats Wednesday like a mini-weekend—because why wait until Friday to have fun? Each week, we’ll dive into a different creative project, from journaling and zine-making to snail-mail writing and mixed-media crafting. No experience? No problem. Just bring yourself, your curiosity, and maybe a friend (or make new ones here!). June 11th – Snail Mail Cyanotype Cards 🐌💌 Make your own cyanotype greeting cards! Cyanotype is a magical,old-school photography process that uses sunlight/UV Light to create beautiful blue-toned prints. It’s super beginner-friendly and so fun to experiment with! I’ll walk you through the process, supplies ready to go: cards, art materials, and stamps. Create something beautiful and send a little love through the mail. June 17th (changed date and time 6-7:30pm) – Flipbooks Inspired by one of my favorite quotes, "You can't control the future. You can't change the past. All you have is the present moment. Life is a flipbook of present moments". I’ll show you how to make a sturdy,little flipbook and supply everything you need. July 9th- Junk Journaling What is junk journaling? It’s like scrapbooking’s quirky cousin! Junk journaling is all about using the little bits and pieces of everyday life—random finds, receipts, tags, wrappers, or anything you don't want to throw away. (I like to use my son's cute post-it doodles I find around the house.) What to bring? I’ll have plenty of art supplies, craft materials, and a big stash of collage papers and fun “junk” you can repurpose. Just bring yourself, maybe some paper scraps or sentimental odds and ends if you have them, and get ready to junk journal! July 23rd- Crafts & Questions This Circle Up is inspired by my twin sister’s birthday wish years ago—to sit with friends, and ask each other fun questions. So that’s exactly what we’ll do! Just add CRAFTING! Bring any craft you’re working on, or try something from a past Circle Up—like zines, snail mail, journaling, Say No to Your Phone boxes, or flip books. I’ll have lots of supplies on hand (and watercolors, pastels, collage stuff, pens, markers, etc.), or you can grab a ready-made craft kit from Karith at Nimble Craft. Sample questions: Who was your favorite teacher and why? What's our favorite book? What’s a song you love? *June + July Circle Ups are Pay-What-You-Can.
