2-3x A Month / 7-8:30pm / Ages 18+ / Pay What You Can / You can attend whenever/whichever! Circle Up: Winter Enchantment Month! All Circles in January include: Tea/coffee and a tasty treat + the lights of the aurora borealis, aromatherapy, candles, and more Hygge vibes 🩵❄️✨ Do bring a blanket and/or wear your loungewear if you’d like! Wed. Jan. 28th 7-8:30pm “A Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever”-John Keats Bring a representation of “A Thing of Beauty” and create your own work of art from it. It could be a picture of a loved one, a favorite poem or quote, a piece of music, a book cover, a leaf, or anything you find beautiful that you want to share with the group. Let’s put ourselves “in the way of beauty”, especially during the winter 🥰❄️⭐️🩵 “My mom said there’s a sunrise and a sunset every day and you can choose to be there or not. You can put yourself in the way of beauty.” -Cheryl Strayed Wednesday, February 4th / 7-8:30pm Cringe Journal Circle 📓 It’s okay to be cringe—in fact, it's becoming a lost art! Being cringe means letting yourself be earnest and vulnerable, even if it feels uncomfy. Inspired by writer and professor Ocean Vuong’s reflections on embracing 'cringe', this Circle Up is all about celebrating our 'glorious awkwardness' in a warm, inclusive space where you can be fully yourself. We’ll write “bad” poetry, share our most cringey moments, and do journal prompts designed to bring out the ultimate cringe response. Bonus points if you bring along your middle school journals for a dramatic reading!
