Wednesday, December 3rd / 6:30-8pm / Ages 16+ Are you tired of sugary-sweet, boring holiday crafts? Then ditch the doves and deck the halls with horns! Join me for A Kitschy Krampus Workshop, where we celebrate the dark, mischievous, and wonderfully tacky side of the season that is Santa's sidekick, Krampus. This isn't your grandma's craft session (unless your grandma is a terrifying horned beast from the Alps). We'll be embracing all things kitsch, using a vibrant mix of glitter, tinsel, and vintage images of Krampus to decoupage on wood to create a holiday décor that is too terrible to toss and too festive to forget. Come create your own masterpiece just in time for Krampusnacht! The tradition? The folklore of Krampus serves as a cautionary tale for children who have been naughty, while good children are rewarded by St. Nicholas. What to Expect: All materials provided. Step-by-step guidance suitable for all skill levels on how to do an inkjet image transfer using Mod Podge on wood. A fun and supportive atmosphre! Leave with a one-of-a-kind, kitsch-tastic Krampus creation!
