And let's be real, with the price of ice cream these days, wouldn't it be fantastic if they could earn their own sweet treats? Well, get ready for something truly exciting! I'm absolutely thrilled to announce a brand-new workshop designed to spark creativity and entrepreneurial spirit! Drawing on my background in Graphic Design and the vibrant world of Makers Markets, I've crafted an action-packed, two-week experience where your kids will dive headfirst into the world of mini-business! This isn't just crafting; it's about building a real, tangible project that culminates in their very own Mini Makers Market during Media's Dining Under The Stars! Please note: This workshop is specifically for kiddos who are buzzing with the idea of starting their own little venture. Week 1: Laying the Awesome Foundation June 2nd (Monday): Logo Design + Merch Mania! We'll unleash their inner designers and brainstorm eye-catching logos and super fun merchandise ideas that will make their creations irresistible. June 4th (Wednesday): Think Big, Sell Smart! We'll explore a world of product possibilities and start mapping out their unique inventory. June 6th (Friday): Market Like a Pro! It's all about the know-how! We'll cover essential market etiquette to ensure a smooth and successful selling experience. Week 2: Bringing the Dream to Life! June 9th (Monday): Making Magic: Inventory Creation! Time to get those creative juices flowing and bring their amazing products to life! June 11th (Wednesday) : The Grand Finale Mini Makers Market and the moment they've been working towards! They'll proudly showcase and sell their creations in their very own mini market during the Dining Under the Stars event on State Street until 7pm. This has been a passion project of mine for ages, and I truly believe in the incredible potential these young entrepreneurs hold.
